RTR OVER SQUARE ENGINE WITH RT – FI TECHNOLOGY
The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 180 is powered by the BS-VI Race Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-Fi) technology. The intelligent system has optimized the engine, so that racers can experience the ultimate performance from the engine in any race condition. The race derived engine is developed with a short stroke set up for lightning fast acceleration. The engine delivers intense torque and the high revving nature at the top end translates to greater racing speeds.

GLIDE THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
This First-in-segment feature allows for effortless launch off the line. With the slow release of the clutch, and with no throttle operation the race machine will effortlessly move off the line. The requirement of the synchronisation of the clutch lever and throttle lever is eliminated and this cuts down on engine stalls.

SYNCHRONIZED STIFF CHASSIS
Unparallel riding dynamics is achieved through the Synchronised stiff chassis. The spine of the racing machine provides stiffness for straight-line performance and flex for aggressive cornering. The setup provides the racer absolute confidence to race on the very edge.

MIG SUSPENSION
Cornering aggression now meets agility. The setup features front telescopic oil damped forks, coupled with the rear monotube inverted gas filled 5 step adjustable shocks with rectangular swing arm.

RACE ERGONOMICS
The racer is now in complete control, with adjustable split clip on handle bars, an adaptable brake pedal and gear lever. The ergonomics are designed to make the racer feel like one with the track machine.

BEAST-INSPIRED HEADLAMPS
The signature LED’s on the Apache have been an intimidating presence on the track. The LED light guide in the headlamp panel along with the pilot lamps produces an intense, raw, animalistic gaze. The throw from the headlamps cut through the harshest conditions to ensure clear visibility.

RACE-INSPIRED DIGITAL ANALOG DISPLAY
The console features a lap timer, top speed indicator and displays other essential information that a rider would look for. It is white backlit for visibility in any condition and features a stylish racing stripe.

LED TAIL LAMP
Something the competition on the track will get used to seeing, the tail lamps are dotted with a cluster of LED lights that create an unmistakable design.

INTELLIGENT AERODYNAMICS
Designed to cut through the air, the sharp tank cowl lowers drag while also reducing engine heat by 10°C.

MUSCLED ENGINE COWL
The engine cowl is sculpted to be sharp, and angular to slice through the air while making a statement on the track.

TANK SCOOPS
In the heat of the race, the TVS Apache RTR is kept cool with the help of the tank scoops. These are designed to channel cool air to the engine and circulate the warm air out.

MUSCLED TAIL COWL
The sculpted lines of the tail cowl compliment the imposing design of the TVS Apache RTR 160. The design gives the tail a distinct and dynamic look.

SINGLE CHANNEL SUPER-MOTO ABS
Control has never been this exhilarating, the Apache RTR 180 now comes equipped with technology to slice up the track. The Single Channel Super-Moto ABS Unit had been developed and tested on the track. The system provides the ultimate braking control while allowing sharp feedback. The precise system to keep your braking and cornering, razor-sharp.

BRIGHT HEADLAMPS
The LED light guide in the headlamp panel coalesces with the pilot lamps and produces an intense, raw, animalistic gaze, being Apache’s signature. This throws a far reaching beam on the road and makes for a very comfortable night-riding experience.

REMORA TYRES
Remora tyres stick to the road with remora fish-like grip, resulting in improved acceleration and braking.

INTEGRATED FRAME SLIDERS
The new Apache RTR 180 sports all-new crash guard design with integrated frame sliders inspired from our race machines for additional protection and rider safety on roads.
